Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to make campaign stops in Erie and Altoona on Friday, August 12th.
The rally in Erie will take place at Erie Insurance Arena, and will start at 2 p.m. Doors will open at 10 a.m.
In Altoona, Trump will be at the Blair County Convention Center. This event will start at 6 p.m., and the doors will open at 3 p.m.
These two stops are part of Trump’s goal to snag Pennsylvania in the general election on Nov. 8th, although PA has not voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988.
“This guy is serious about [Pennsylvania] and his aides tell me he’ll be here a lot between now and November,” Erie County GOP Chair Verel Salmon stated.
Trump has already held several events in the commonwealth, including a recent stop in Mechanicsburg. Additionally, his running mate Mike Pence is taking a swing through PA on Tuesday.
