Politico is reporting that Judge Maryanne Trump Barry has spoken with her brother President Trump about naming Pittsburgh based Judge Thomas Hardiman to the Supreme Court.
Both Judge Barry and Judge Hardiman serve on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals.
“They are regularly sitting together, deciding cases together, participating together in oral arguments,” lawyer Matthew Stiegler said.
“Maryanne is high on Hardiman,” an advisor who had spoken to directly with President Trump is reported as saying.
Judge Barry is not the only reason that Judge Hardiman is in the final two though.
“I don’t think it is fair to say the only reason he’s got juice on the list is because of her,” said differently advisor.
Trump is expected to announce his choice February 2nd.

This guy would be GREAT….we don’t need all these Harvard and Oxford educated folks on the Court. A guy who went to Notre Dame and drove a cab to support his education is what we need more of in positions of power.
