Urban Reportedly Considered for RNC Chair

urbanDavid Urban is being considered for the position of Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

According to Dana Bash, Mark Preston and Daniella Diaz of CNN, Urban could potentially be the next head of the RNC.

“Nothing is set in stone, but he is being strongly considered,” a Trump campaign source told CNN. “He has the trust of President-elect Donald J. Trump, he has the trust of the children and the trust of the senior staff. If Urban is able to replicate Pennsylvania in some of these other rust belt states that is a winning formula.”

Senator Pat Toomey is also throwing his support behind him.

Previous Chairman Reince Priebus is leaving to become the White House Chief of Staff, another job Urban was rumored for.

Urban served as Senior Advisor for the Trump campaign in the Keystone State. He was also Chief of Staff for Senator Arlen Specter from 1997 to 2002 and works for ACG, a D.C. lobbying firm.

  1. I’ll decide who is in the swamp and who isn’t. BTW, I thought Urban was a bullfrog, not an alligator. I hope he doesn’t croak at night.

  2. Speak to those who couldnt even puchase signs from Urban, he may have ran his mouth but he certainly never laid out any road map for victory here. As a Trump supporter I ask this, if your draining the swamp why would you put a lobbyist in it!!!!!! Keep your word Donald and drain the swamp completely!

  3. If draining the swamp is a thing, Urban running the RNC makes no sense. He is the king of all alligators.

  4. If true, Urban comes out from behind the scenes and takes center stage as a national power broker.

He’s played the game for years. Played it well.

    He has won…big.

    Pennsylvania wins.

Godspeed and best of luck to Mr. Urban.
