The rumors of staff shake-ups in the White House have been circulating for months, including rumors of David Urban joining the Trump Administration. Urban was the Trump campaign’s senior advisor for Pennsylvania.
According to a report in Axios, the Administration is considering bringing Urban into a senior level position. Urban has been rumored as a possible Chief of Staff to replace former RNC Chair Reince Priebus.
The resignation of White House Communications Director Mike Dubke, which was leaked this morning, may signal the shake-ups that have been rumored to be in the works are starting.
Urban currently works for ACG, a D.C. lobbying firm, and was Chief of Staff for Senator Arlen Specter from 1997 to 2002.
