Video: PA GOP Celebrates Reagan Legacy

This week saw the 100th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s birthday, and the PA Republican Party is joining the festivities.

In a a new web video, PA GOP Chairman Rob Gleason calls Reagan an American icon and a great president.

“His accomplishments are legendary from stopping the Cold War to introducing Reagonomics to government.”

Republican groups around the country are working to turn this anniversary into a nationwide celebration, including the Republican National Committee.

Gleason cited the 49th president’s blue collar collar supporters, aka Reagan Democrats, for the election success of Pat Toomey, Tom Corbett, and Republicans across PA in 2010.

“But the most important thing Ronal Reagan did for Pennsylvania was that he developed a coalition of fiscal conservatives, family value voters, strong military supporters, many of them blue collar workers, and we now call them Reagan Democrats.”

“The legend of Ronald Reagan will never die in Pennsylvania. God Bless Ronald Reagan.”
