“Voices of Reason” Podcast to Redefine Pennsylvania Politics News

PoliticsPA is thrilled to announce the launch of the Voices of Reason podcast, presented by L2 Data Inc. in partnership with Broad + Liberty. The program will redefine the conversation around Pennsylvania politics with smart, measured coverage that features high-profile politicians, candidates and policy influencers on both sides of the aisle, as well as exclusive news and data that is central to the 2024 campaign.

Voices of Reason is the antidote to a political environment too often mired in animosity and hidden agendas. The podcast cultivates intelligent discussions that give way to real-world solutions even when guests don’t share the same perspectives. The key: everyone gets a fair shake.

Data is a hallmark of Voices of Reason with L2’s deep data resources and expertise in visualizing that data. Exclusive statistics, maps and analysis on Pennsylvania’s policy and politics landscape makes the program one you can’t miss.

“The Voices of Reason podcast fits with L2 incredibly well as it’s high quality and gets into the weeds of politics, which L2 does in Pennsylvania and nationwide.” said L2 Executive Vice President Paul Westcott. “As a non-partisan data provider, we provide information for researchers, campaigns, interest groups, and those in the media and this is a great venue for us to explore state and local politics in a way we haven’t done before.”

The inaugural episode of Voices of Reason features distinguished guests State Senator Vincent Hughes (D-Philadelphia), PA House Appropriations Chairman Jordan Harris (D-Philadelphia), PA House Appropriations Minority Chairman Seth Grove (R-York), State Representative Gina Curry (D-Delaware), CEO of the Philadelphia Education Fund Farah Jimenez, and L2 Executive Vice President Paul Westcott.

The Voice of Reason podcast is the product of a strategic relationship recently formed between PoliticsPA and Broad + Liberty intended to integrate diverse perspectives into campaign coverage and investigative journalism.

“The creation of this podcast, and the continuation of this powerful collaboration, will keep viewers, listeners, and readers close to every statewide twist and turn as our commonwealth becomes the center of political gravity in 2024,” said Terry Tracy, CEO of PoliticsPA and Broad + Liberty in an op-ed regarding the launch.

“Ultimately, my goal for PoliticsPA is that it becomes the commonwealth’s de facto town square: a place where people who care about the commonwealth, the common good, and one another come to share ideas, air their differences, and make democracy work.”

The Voices of Reason podcast will air bi-weekly on the PoliticsPA and Broad + Liberty YouTube channels. You can view the first episode here as well as a short preview featuring State Senator Vince Hughes here.

  1. Injecting MAGA poison into the discussion is like putting a small amount of arsenic in your milk.
