Voters Have a Clear Choice Between Meehan and Lentz on Tuesday

DREXEL HILL, PA – On Tuesday, voters will go to the polls to cast a vote not just on the issues, but also on the character and integrity of the person they want representing them in Congress.

“On the question of character the differences are clear: Pat Meehan has been recognized by both the Delaware County Daily Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer for his integrity while his opponent Bryan Lentz has been under fire for his unethical behavior because of his efforts to manipulate the election process,” said Bryan Kendro, campaign manger for Pat Meehan, referring to Lentz’s efforts to put a third party spoiler on the ballot.  “We’ve seen enough of the gridlock, win-at-all costs attitude in Congress, and we don’t need Bryan Lentz adding to the partisanship in Washington.”

Kendro also said that over the course of the campaign, the difference between the two candidates on the issues has been clear.

“Pat has laid out his opposition to the Nancy Pelosi agenda in Congress of tax hikes, deficit spending, the ever-growing national debt and the job-killing cap and trade legislation,” Kendro continued.  “If you look at Lentz’s record on those same issues, he supported the cap and trade legislation that could put thousands of regional jobs in jeopardy, and he has a record of voting in Harrisburg to raise our taxes and increase spending by billions of dollars.”

“A vote for Bryan Lentz is a vote for more of the same broken policies in Washington, while Pat Meehan will fight to focus Congress on true job creation and economic recovery.”
