In the Keystone State, a subtle yet powerful shift is taking place that could redefine the next presidential election.

In a recent poll, 16% of surveyed voters in Pennsylvania have responded they are “less likely” to support Donald Trump in his 2024 presidential bid, following his felony conviction in New York.

During the most recent installment of the Voices of Reason podcast, Paul Westcott, Executive Vice President of L2 Data, guided us through this modeling, revealing clusters of these voters emerging around urban centers and critical districts.

“Where do you notice it? You notice it around Allentown and Scranton, in Erie, the suburbs of Pittsburgh, a little bit around Harrisburg and Lancaster, and of course the Philadelphia suburbs,” Westcott pointed out.

“That’s an important number,” remarked Steve Ulrich, host of Voices of Reason. “Even if it was just 8 percent, in a swing state like Pennsylvania where 1% could make the difference, that’s a pretty significant number.”

“Absolutely…” agreed Westcott.
