It certainly looks like the House Majority Leader has something up his sleeve.
What that may be, however, remains a mystery. Perhaps even to the man himself.
Amidst rumors that State Rep. Dave Reed might be seeking to run either for Governor or Senator in 2018, a new website suddenly emerged.
As Ryan Briggs of City & State points out, Freed’s “PA Forward Together” site is deliberately designed to be as vague as possible.
With Congressman Pat Meehan looking at the Senate contest and State Senator Scott Wagner preparing to run for Governor, Reed will face a GOP primary in either race.
Potential opponents, fundraising considerations and the national landscape are all factors Reed will have to take into account as he decides his future.

Turdseye is qualified to run for guv of Illinois.
Maybe Turdseye will get indicted.
I think he is building his profile so he can be next in line for House Leadership if Turzi steps down for any reason.
well I think for he will be a great candidate for governor in 2018.
I think he’s a loser.
Take it from someone who has been negotiating with Reed and Turzai for years…neither of them is running for higher office anytime soon. They get a little annoyed sometimes by all the attention going to people like Toomey, Meehan and Wagner, and pull little stunts to poke their heads up to look important. At the end of the day, they pray someone higher up the chain dies or goes to jail and they get a call from Asher to be appointed, because that’s the only way they are moving up.
I would honestly prefer Reed to Wolfe, as Reed is fairly level headed and knows how to get legislation through. But someone like Wagner? Forget it.
As Republicans go, he’s much more preferable to Kelly and Wagner. A reasonable pragmatist.
Good. Let the GOP slug it out in the primary.
In fairness to Reed, though, it can’t be easy working with guys like Rick Saccone and Daryl Metcalfe every day.
He cannot even unite the House Republican Caucus and he wants to lead the state?
