Wolf Airs Third TV Ad For Gov Run (With Video)

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf has released yet another TV ad, his third overall and the second one this week.

This spot, entitled ‘Shared broadly’, addressed anyone who may have been wondering why Wolf shares 20 to 30% of his profits with his employees, which the businessman is happy to explain.

“I do that in part because it’s right,” Wolf says to the camera. “But I also do it because it’s really smart business.

“If the company does well it’s not simply because I made good decisions, but it’s because a lot of people worked really hard and prosperity is real when it’s shared broadly,” Wolf continued over shots of employees working with him.

The ad he released earlier this week was a very polite attack on Governor Tom Corbett after Corbett delivered his budget address. His first ever television appearance was on January 30, which served as a basic introduction to Wolf, his family and his accomplishments.

Before that, Wolf released a web ad on his Twitter account entitled ‘Made in Pennsylvania,’ where he spoke about his desire to bring manufacturing jobs back to the Commonwealth.

In the Democratic primary for state governor, Wolf is up against State Treasurer Rob McCord, former DEP Secretaries Katie McGinty and John Hanger, Rep. Allyson Schwartz, pastor Max Myers and Lebanon County Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz.

  1. I will be interesting to see what kind of a spike Wolf gets in the polls after running these ads. In my area, I’ve even heard from Republicans asking “who is this Tom Wolf and what do you think of him?”
