Wolf Campaign Launches New Ad

Governor Tom Wolf’s campaign launched a new ad touting his focus on career and technical education as Governor.

“Since Tom took office, he’s increased the number of students enrolled in career and technical education programs by 42 percent and launched nearly 100 new apprenticeship programs,” Wolf’s campaign manager Jeff Sheridan wrote in an email to supporters.

“We’re creating a very innovative set of training programs so that every Pennsylvanian can feel there is something for them,” Wolf says in the ad.

The 30-second ad, titled “Healthy Jobs,” is currently running on TV.  While Wolf does not face a primary challenger, the ad sets a positive tone differentiating Wolf from the attack ads between Republican Gubernatorial candidates Paul Mango and Scott Wagner.

  1. Convicted cop killer wont face death penalty ordered by jury because the Gov is personally against the law he swore he upheld.

    1. I doubt Wolf got four exclamation points even on his Wedding Night – what’s all your excitement about?

  2. Lol, ad includes known idiot Brian Humphrey, who bad mouths the Gov to whoever will give him an audience.

    1. “Takes one to know one.” Benjamin Franklin, Fourteen Virtues, 1771

  3. The Wolf ad is effective telling a his story simply but effectively. The Republicans are in disarray with Wagner seemingly floundering and Speaker Turzai struggling to deal with the Rep. Miccarelli matter which was featured on the front page of this past Sunday’s New York Times.

    1. As the old saying goes, “if you’ve lost the New York Times, you’ve lost Pennsylvania.”

  4. It’s nice to have a governor who has a solid record in both business and the public sector. Skilled labor and job training are critical needs right now, and it’s good to see that get highlighted.
