More state House seats open up through retirements, the latest Politically Uncorrected column, the NRCC adds two more PA candidates to its “On the Radar” list, Vitali runs for the 7th Congressional district, and Wolf says he won’t approve partisan Congressional maps.  Good morning politicos, here’s the Playbook!

State Senate and House Open Seats Thread: State Reps. Mark Mustio and Flo Fabrizio both announced their retirements from the legislature.  

Politically Uncorrected: Chaos on the Susquehanna: The state Supreme Court decision to toss the existing Congressional map and impose the tightened timeline to draw a new map righted one wrong, but created another.

NRCC Adds Lewis and Pries to “On the Radar” Program: The NRCC added Andrew Lewis and Dauphin County Commissioner Mike Pries to its “On the Radar” program.

Vitali Enters Race for PA-7: Democratic state Rep. Greg Vitali announced he is entering the race to replace Congressman Pat Meehan, citing climate change as his main reason for entering the race.

Wolf Won’t Approve Partisan Gerrymandered Maps: After the state Supreme Court threw out Pennsylvania’s current Congressional map, Governor Tom Wolf said he will not approve any partisan gerrymandered maps.

Legislative Election Update
CD-11: Republican Dan Meuser was endorsed by the Dauphin County GOP over the weekend.  “This endorsement is a huge boost for our campaign and I am honored to have received the support of the members of the Dauphin County Republican Committee,” Meuser said.  
CD-15: Dauphin County Commissioner Mike Pries was endorsed by the Dauphin County GOP over the weekend.  “As County Commissioner and a local Township Supervisor, Mike has over a decade of experience balancing complex budgets and overseeing hundreds of employees. Each and every year, Mike has found ways to provide taxpayers with excellent public services while holding the line on taxes. In fact, Mike Pries has never raised taxes,” Dauphin County GOP Chair David Feidt said.
