Murphy Announces He Will Not Run For Re-Election Amidst Affair Scandal: Congressman Tim Murphy announced he will not be running for re-election next year amid a scandal involving an extra-marital affair, accusations he pushed for an abortion, and claims of a hostile work environment.

Wolf Threatens Unilateral Action on Budget if Compromise Solution is Not Passed: Governor Tom Wolf threatened to take unilateral action with the state’s finances unless the House and Senate send him a compromise revenue package that includes a severance tax.
