PA state flagToday we introduce Brittany Foster, the soon-to-be Managing Editor of PoliticsPA. Plus Jack Wagner is still considering a Gov bid and more. Good morning politicos, here’s the Buzz.

Wagner To Decide on Guv Bid By December: Former Auditor Jack Wagner will declare his candidacy for governor, if there is one, before the year’s end.

Tracker Trouble at Fitz Event: Mike Fitzpatrick’s campaign condemned a D.C. Super PAC for allegedly sending video trackers into a high school to follow and videotape him. The Super PAC denies the account.

PA-8: Strouse Picks Up PeacePAC Endorsement: Democratic candidate and veteran Kevin Strouse received the support of the Council for a Livable World.

Thompson, Fitzpatrick Sponsor New Bill that Reins in NSA: The USA FREEDOM Act would curb mass data collection and impose stricter oversight on the NSA.

PA-13: Boyle Kicks Off 2014 Campaign With Bio Video: The two-minute ad emphasizes his humble Philadelphia roots and makes the case for his campaign for Congress.

Legislative Election Updates:

SD-36: State Rep. Gordon Denlinger (R-Lancaster) will make it official on Saturday: he’s running for the open seat of retiring Sen. Mike Brubaker. It’s a safe district for Republicans, but there is likely to be a primary battle in this deep red seat.

One Response

  1. Dear Ms. Zito: Dem fund-raising would be stronger if the field would just put a price tag on how much it would cost to get a Budget Secretary and an acting Ed Secretary like the Cyber Charter School Corporate Welfare Quenn Cabal got in Charly Zogby. I’m recommending “laundering” donations through the RGA. This strategy worked for Cooch. http://trib.me/1alOvu5
