Philadelphia Named Finalist for 2016 Democratic National Convention: The DNC named Philly one of three finalists for the event along with Brooklyn and Columbus.

Philly Mayor: Abraham Leads in Internal Poll: Abraham commands a 19 point lead over Darrell Clarke in first released poll in the Philly mayoral race.

Former Montgomery County GOP Chairman Robert Kerns Convicted of Indecent Contact: The 67 year-old attorney was sentenced to two years’ probation and must register as a sex offender for 15 years.

PA-Gov: Rendell to Serve as Honorary Chair of Wolf’s Inaugural Committee: The former Governor was named the Gov-elect’s Honorary Inaugural Chair.

Judge Dwayne Woodruff, Former Steeler, to Run for PA Supreme Court: Family Court Judge Dwayne Woodruff, who spent nearly a decade with the Steelers, will run for one of three vacancies in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
