Governor Corbett and his political team called southeast Pa. party leaders to ask their support for Steve Welch, but complicated relations between Corbett and the caucus led to a no-vote Wednesday night.
Rep. Holden Withdraws SOPA Support
Score one for the techies. Rep. Tim Holden, one of 30 co-sponsors of the Stop Online Piracy Act, has withdrawn his co-sponsorship in the face of public outcry.
