Here’s How Every District Would Change Under the Scarnati-Turzai Map: How would the Scarnati-Turzai map change the competitive balance of PA’s congressional districts? We looked at 8 years of district-specific election results to find out.

Pa. Dems Elect Wolf’s Slate for Leadership, Endorse Wolf and Casey: The Pennsylvania Democratic Party elected Governor Wolf’s picks for leadership, and endorsed Wolf and Senator Bob Casey’s re-election bids. The Party did not endorse for Lieutenant Governor.

PA GOP Endorses Barletta, Wagner, and Bartos: At the PA GOP’s Winter meeting, the state party voted to endorse Congressman Lou Barletta’s Senate bid, and the state Sen, Scott Wagner and Jeff Bartos ticket for Governor and Lieutenant Governor.

Turzai Exits Governor Race: State House speaker Mike Turzai announced to the Republican State Committee that he is no longer running for Governor.

GOP Releases Redrawn Maps: The state Senate and House GOP released the redrawn Congressional map they are submitting to the Governor for his approval or as a starting point for negotiations ahead of the February 15th deadline.

Wolf Puts Support behind Slate of Candidates for Pa. Dems Leadership: Governor Tom Wolf sent an email to Democratic State Party members putting his support behind Jack Hanna for Chair, Nancy Patton Mills for Vice Chair, and Lisa Rhodes for Treasurer.

Pro-Trump Super PAC Launches $50k Digital ad Campaign in PA-18: The pro-Trump super PAC Committee to Defend the President is getting involved in the special election in PA-18, launching a $50,000 digital ad campaign.

CD-15: Democratic candidate Susan Wild announced the endorsements of Lehigh County Democrats Mike Schlossberg and Peter Schweyer.  “Susan Wild is an incredibly hardworking, talented, smart, and tough woman who will go to Washington and stand up for the Lehigh Valley and progressive values. I couldn’t be more proud to call her my friend and our next congresswoman,” Schweyer said.
