Legislative Elections Update

SD-9: The Pennsylvania State Education Association announced its endorsement of Marty Molloy today.

“With Marty’s background, you might assume that this endorsement was a shoe-in. But we are a bipartisan organization and carefully considered each candidate’s strengths, weaknesses, and their capacity to work to improve education for all children across the state. In the end, we were all united in deciding that Marty was the clear choice to best represent the 9th district in Harrisburg and continue our fight to fully fund education across the state,” said Mark Cottom, PSEA PACE Director, Southeast Region. “Marty Molloy is an energetic, compassionate, experienced educator, with an incredible depth of knowledge on the issues about which we care so deeply, and we are proud to unite behind him in his run for State Senator.”

“I couldn’t be happier, or more proud of this endorsement. Being a teacher is more than a full-time job – it’s a commitment to doing whatever it takes to make sure young people succeed, both in the classroom and in life –  and the members of PSEA know this better than anyone,” said Molloy, 39 of Wallingford, the Director of Vocation at YouthBuild, a school that helps at-risk young adults earn high school diplomas and prepare for careers. “People, perhaps teachers and students most of all, are rightly tired of lip service from career politicians. At home, my wife and I teach our kids to do what they say they will do and follow through on their responsibilities. As state Senator, teachers, students, and families will always be able to count on me to keep my word and keep fighting for those that need it most.”

The 9th district consists of parts of Chester and Delaware Counties.

HD-158: Perry Bentley will be running a write-in campaign in a last-ditch attempt to keep the GOP seat from Democratic candidate Susan Rzucidlo.

The 158th district is part of Chester County.

One Response

  1. Isn’t it time the Feds act on the corrupt mess Seth Williams is making of the DA’s Office in Philadelphia?

The Porn-gate prosecutor who let the con-man keep $430,000.00 he stole from PA taxpayers has the SAME ATTORNEY as the con-man. Small world, huh? LOL

Maybe THAT’S WHY Fina stole the “sting” file from the AG’s Office before Kane came in.
Maybe THAT’S WHY the “deal” between Fina and Ali was labeled “unjust” by Bruce Beemer (the 1st Asst. at the OAG). FYI – it was not a “deal” at all. Fina DROPPED ALL CHARGES that were pending against Tyron Ali (his lawyer’s other client).

Maybe THAT’S WHY there is still an “active” grand jury on the very old “sting” case — so that Fina and Levant can hide behind grand jury secrecy rules.

Did you know that Seth Williams recently hired a new “Chief of Staff”/”General Counsel” at the Philadelphia DA’s Office? She has ZERO general counsel experience and just about no DA experience. Her name is Kathy Martin. She is Bob Levant’s wife. Really small world, I guess? LMAO

Frank Fina and his lawyer, Bob Levant, are suing the State (OAG) for more taxpayer $$$. Here’s Seth Williams’ new Chief of Staff/General Counsel, Kathy Martin, defending her husband’s client, Frank Fina, and his racist/pervert buddies:

“Keeping them here [at the Philadelphia D.A.’s Office] exhibits our faith in them that they’re smart, capable, hard-working, dedicated civil servants,” Martin said. Wow — how great for Martin!! On behalf of the Philadelphia DA’s Office, she gets to say things in the Press that will help her husband profit in his $$$-driven lawsuit.

Hope the FBI is paying attention …
