PA-state-flag6-14New endorsements in the Democratic Commonwealth Court primary, and Real ID advances, brings federalism issues to light.  Good morning politicos, here’s the Playbook!

Commonwealth Court: Democratic Primary Endorsements Thread: Judge Ellen Ceisler’s campaign announced two new endorsements, and Judges Ceisler and Cosgrove were endorsed by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.  

City & State: As REAL ID effort advances in House, federalism issues come to light: On Monday, the House State Government Committee moved along a Senate measure that would put Pennsylvania on the road toward compliance with the federal REAL ID Act, which requires states to adopt specific, nationwide standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and ID cards in order to strengthen immigration enforcement and boost homeland security.
