Philly GOP, PA Business Council Support 2016 DNC Bid: Philadelphia’s drive to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention is picking up some unexpected support.

PA-Gov: First Gubernatorial Debate Scheduled?: It appears the first gubernatorial debate between Tom Corbett and Tom Wolf will take place next month in Hershey.

PA-Gov: Corbett Defends Meetings with Campaign Advisers: Gov. Tom Corbett defended his joint meetings with campaign advisers and state-paid employees while on a campaign stop today.

Legislative Election Update:

SD-81: The House Republican Campaign Committee announced that they will not be endorsing either candidate in the race. Rich Irvin defeated incumbent GOP Rep. Mike Fleck in the primary yet Fleck won the Democratic nomination as a write-in. With two Republicans on the ballot the party committee feels no need to waste resources in a race it will win either way.
