Dems Launch ‘Kick Out Corbett’ Site: The PA Democratic Party has created a website to attack Governor Corbett over his past positions and controversies.

Allentown Mayor Pawlowski Launches Bid for Governor: Mayor Pawlowski announced his candidacy on national TV Sunday morning. He will also embark on a nine-day, twenty-three county kick-off tour.

PA-12: Hugya Announces Run for Congress: The former Chief of Staff to Rep. John Murtha announced his bid to replace his old boss. The seat is currently held by Rep. Keith Rothfus.

State Rep. Dick Hess Dead at 74: The Transportation Committee Chairman had served fourteen terms in the State House. Altogether Dick Hess spent the last forty-eight years of his life in public service.

Val Arkoosh Releases First Campaign Video: The Democratic candidate for PA-13 released her first ad, a biographical web video. The ad highlighted Arkoosh’s experience as a physician and healthcare expert.

Shuster Launches a Halvorson Fact Checker: Rep. Bill Shuster started an online “fact checker” to counter what he called primary opponent Art Halvorson’s distortions of his record.
