McNally Goes on TV in SD-15

A few days after his opponent, Republican John McNally is on television in the 15th district race for Senate. The 30 second spot emphasizes his local roots, and his willingness to push back against leaders from his own party.

“We need to guarantee our children have better opportunities than we did,” says McNally amid footage of the district as seen from his pickup truck. “I’ll stand up to leaders of both parties for more funding and more reforms in education.”

The ad was produced by Red Maverick Media and GK Visual, and began airing on cable across the district on Monday.

McNally, an attorney and former Chairman of the Dauphin County GOP, is running for the seat of retiring Sen. Jeff Piccola (R-Dauphin). His opponent is Rob Teplitz, a Democrat and attorney working in the office of the PA Auditor General.

Teplitz debuted his first television ad in the middle of last week.

“Party boss John McNally won’t stand up to the failed leaders that he fought to elect since he’s now relying on them to raise money for him,” said Teplitz Campaign Manager Victor Wills. “McNally’s belief that education is just another budget item to be slashed is not a solution to the obstacles facing our schools.”

“While John McNally has shown that all he can offer are the Republican talking points, Rob Teplitz has offered proven solutions to the problems that are facing Pennsylvania.”
