Ad Watch: Casey Says “Take That, China”

Welcome back to Ad Watch – our series that shares the latest TV and digital ads that we can find on the races affecting the Keystone State.

Today, we feature the latest from the Bob Casey for Senate campaign.

The ad, entitled “Take That,” highlights Casey’s support for American-manufactured steel and working people in Pennsylvania.

It will be appearing in the Pittsburgh, Scranton and Harrisburg media markets this week.

This is the fourth TV ad that the Casey campaign has released this cycle. The previous three focused on bipartisan legislation that provided veteran benefits for those exposed to burn pits, as well as fighting big corporations over ‘greedflation” and “shrinkflation.”

Republican David McCormick, who will be challenging Casey for the seat in November, has also been on the Pennsylvania airwaves since late March. The two television ads McCormick has released detail his roots wrestling in the state and lessons he learned from graduating from West Point and serving in the military.

Various workers: Pennsylvania steel built America.

Our bridges, buildings, and skylines.

But yinz wouldn’t believe it. Our own government turned their backs on us.

Using Chinese steel to build our infrastructire.

We were getting screwed.

Bob Casey said no way.

No way.

No way.

Casey passed a law requiring federal infrastructure be built with American steel.

American steel.

Take that, China.

Casey: “I’m Bob Casey, I’ll always stand up to China to protect American workers. That’s why I approve this message.”
