ALTMIRE STATEMENT ON THE BEGINNING OF THE 112TH CONGRESS
 
(Washington, D.C.) — Today, U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire (PA-04) was sworn in for his third term in the U.S. House of Representatives. Consistently recognized as one of Congress’s most independent members, Congressman Altmire is also the only member of Congress who has never missed a vote over the past four years.
 
“Fighting for western Pennsylvania’s interests is always my top priority,” Congressman Altmire said. “With this new Congress, I will continue to work with both Republicans and Democrats to strengthen our economy, rein in our nation’s budget deficit, and provide our veterans with the support they deserve.
