April 22nd Playbook

The DNC and the Pennsylvania Democratic Party have teamed up to launch a text campaign to contact over 400,000 voters in the state in an effort to boost vote-by-mail. Here is the Playbook. 

Christian Conservative Group Targets Suburban Women in PA: Concerned Women for America is planning on targeting conservative women in the Harrisburg, Pittsburgh-Johnstown, and Scranton suburban areas.

DNC, PA Dems Launch Text Campaign to Contact Over 400K Voters In Effort To Boost Vote-By-Mail: The release states that hundreds of volunteers will text Pennsylvania voters asking them to apply to vote by mail in the upcoming state primary and presidential election.

Reader Poll: Should Upcoming PA Primary Be an All-Mail Election?: The Associated Press reports that some of the most populous counties in the state are pushing Gov. Tom Wolf to allow them to conduct the June 2 primary election entirely by mail. This poll closes at 11:30 A.M. today!

Planned Parenthood Action Fund Endorses DePasquale: According to Politico, Planned Parenthood Action’s latest wave of endorsements of 14 House races included Eugene DePasquale for the state’s 10th Congressional District. DePasquale is the first challenger that the group has endorsed in Pennsylvania. Planned Parenthood Action Fund has also endorsed the following House Democrats in PA: Reps. Brendan Boyle (D-Philadelphia), Madeleine Dean (D-Montgomery), Dwight Evans (D-Philadelphia), Chrissy Houlahan (D-Chester), Conor Lamb (D-Allegheny), Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Delaware), and Susan Wild (D-Lehigh). 

PA13: Rowley Releases Campaign Video: Todd Rowley, a retired FBI special agent and former police officer and state trooper/flight paramedic who is running as a Democrat in Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, released a campaign video on Twitter.
