One Response

  1. Iovino victory points to centerist Dems winning in R areas but as the article here notes Dems should be concerned about the overly progressive tag. It concerns me to see Dem progressives start to get overly confident about 2020 and Trump. I still think an odd mixture can happen in 2020. That the Dems pull defeat out of the jaws of victory by bypassing Joe Biden who is the only Dem who can win and nominate a fringe progressive who absolutely will lose Pa allowing Trump to cobble together another Presidential victory. Even with a defeated progressive losing to Trump in 2020 this will cause the Dems in US House to pick up more seats as well as the US Senate. And in Pa, even with a Trump win…if Dems nominate an unwinnable Pres candidate, Dems may still win State Senate and State House.
