NEW CASTLE: Today, Lawrence County Commissioners Steve Craig and Richard DeBlasio and New Castle Mayor Anthony Mastrangelo announced their support for Dan Onorato as the next Governor of Pennsylvania. The officials also discussed local economic improvement and Onorato’s record of job creation.  The endorsement adds to the growing list of support Onorato has received from leaders at both the community and statewide level.    “I am endorsing Dan because he is the right choice for Lawrence County,” said Commissioner Craig. “Our residents want and deserve good paying jobs to support their families. He is the only candidate who knows what it takes to create a climate where businesses want to stay and grow.”
In a statement read by Commissioner Craig, New Castle Mayor Anthony Mastrangelo declared that “Dan Onorato showed great leadership as County Executive.  His plans to grow Pennsylvania’s economy and improve education will benefit areas like New Castle and Lawrence County and I am proud to endorse him as the next governor of Pennsylvania.”
Onorato discussed his plan to spur economic growth and create jobs across Pennsylvania.
“I am proud to have the endorsements of these dedicated public officials,” said Onorato.  “Mayor Mastrangelo and Commissioners Craig and DeBlasio recognize what it takes to run a government and that my record of creating jobs is exactly what Pennsylvania needs. As Governor, I look forward to working with them to bring quality jobs to Lawrence County and all of Pennsylvania.”
Dan Onorato’s plan to grow the economy and strengthen communities includes:
·         Establishing a climate where businesses can succeed;
·         Strengthening Pennsylvania’s downtowns and residential neighborhoods;
·         Encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation;
·         Protecting taxpayers and making government more efficient and effective;
·         Ensuring that Pennsylvania’s workforce is prepared for and able to access high-skill, well-paying jobs.
“Dan understands what it takes to create jobs and encourage business investment,” said Commissioner Richard DeBlasio. “His plans to improve the economy and keep family sustaining jobs in the state are proven.  They have been tested and worked in Allegheny County. I am endorsing Dan Onorato because he is the only candidate who has the qualifications and experience we need to lead Pennsylvania.”

Panto, Jr., State Representatives Eugene DePasquale, Mike Gerber and Tony Payton, Jr., State Senators Daylin Leach and Andy Dinniman and Congressmen Mike Doyle and Patrick Murphy.  Onorato has also won major statewide labor endorsements, including the Pennsylvania State Education Association, United Steelworkers and the Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters, as well as several locals.
A life-long Pennsylvanian, Dan Onorato was raised in a working class neighborhood on Pittsburgh’s North Side. He graduated college from Penn State and received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. 1. Of course Steven Craig would want to endorse Dan Onorato for Governor because it is obvious that Commissioner Craig is just as corrupt as the official he wants in office.Steven Craig has mass amounts of corruption in his county in regards to Children and Youth and refuses to look in to it or concern himself with the children being removed form good homes so he can scratch the back of those as corrupt as he is.His exact comment when a citizen of Lawrence County asks for him to look in to Lawrence County Children and Youth’s activities”my office does not get involved in Children and Youth Issues”this was told to me via his secretary.Well why not Commissioner Craig?Doesn’t the welfare of children your county puts at risk count?
