Bartos Reportedly Raises $700k Since Announcing

Jeff Bartos Profile PicU.S. Senate candidate Jeff Bartos has reportedly raised $700,000 since he announced his bid for the U.S. Senate.

According to PoliticoPro, Bartos raised that amount in the 10 days following his announcement.  Bartos had reportedly finished the first quarter with $341,355 cash on hand, though there are no filings with the Federal Elections Commission since he had not officially declared for the race.

Bartos announced his bid in a video released April 24th.

The announcement of his fundraising comes as Congressman Lou Barletta (R-Luzerne) is considering a bid for the Senate after President Donald Trump spoke with him about it.  State Representatives Rick Saccone (R-Allegheny) and Jim Christiana (R-Beaver), and RNC Delegate Andrew Schektor have all announced bids for Senate. Southeast businessman Paul Addis is also considering a run.
