Biden Wins PA

President Joe Biden

“As Pennsylvania goes, so goes the nation.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden has defeated President Donald Trump to win Pennsylvania and the White House.

The AP called the state and the race for Biden at 11:25 A.M. on Saturday. Biden leads Trump by 34,000 votes with 98% of votes reported. Trump has not conceded yet.

The Keystone State took center stage during the 2020 campaign after President Donald Trump became the first Republican since 1988 to carry Pennsylvania in 2016.

During Trump’s successful 2016 bid, he flipped Erie, Luzerne, and Northampton counties.

In 2020, Biden flipped Erie and Northampton counties back in the Democrats favor, while adding up larger numbers in Allegheny County, the Philadelphia suburbs, and Lackawanna County, where the president-elect was born.

  1. Trump will be in jail and out of the picture by 2022. Will have have to get Swastika tattoos for his prison gang?

  2. A senile old man who picked his VP based on race and gender.

A VP who was rejected by her own party at the polls a few months ago.

An adoring media who gave up credibility to get Trump out.

And Levine suddenly raises possibility of a vaccine after the election.

The midterms will get Pelosi and company out, people will remember the fraud of the mail ins no matter how cute the Secy of State smiles and plays the media.

    1. Better than the senile child who picked his VP based on whiteness and homophobia.

Harris wasn’t “rejected”. She wasn’t the choice for the top of the ticket. The ONLY criteria Dems had for the primary was: “Who can beat Trump?” Biden was (correctly) picked as the man to rid us of Trump. Black women carried us over the finish-line.

The adoring right-wing media gave up credibility to lick Trump’s balls every day.

There’s always been a possibility of vaccine (but it didn’t show up before the election like Trump pretended).

The mid-terms won’t have Trump pumping up turnout. Mail-in ballots were huge success.

Maybe the PA GOP will let us count them sooner next time.

  3. People seem to forget and overlooked the fact of how Trump interjected himself in the last Pa Superior Court Primary race by sending out a Tweet for an unqualified candidate over two more qualified republican candidates. The other candidates garnered hundreds of thousands of votes and several thousand of their supporters vowed to not support Trump because of this, me included. I know this had an impact on the PA vote. I know many of them voted for the Libertarian candidate instead. Look at the down ballot votes as evidence. Wake up GOP!! Power of the people! He should have kept his nose out of that primary race! What goes around comes around.

    1. Here is another huge problem caused by the current mentality, but I think it is more prevalent on the Republican side. Voters have now developed a steadfast attitude that “I’ll never vote for a candidate of the opposite party”. What is happening is they aren’t electing the best most qualified candidates, especially in lower offices at the school board, township, borough and county levels. I can confirm at least 2 county row offices in my county are now occupied by incompetents that were elected over better qualified candidates. I honestly believe this is impacting the state legislature too – incompetents and those who are TOO PARTISAN are now being entrusted to write our laws – NOT GOOD.

      1. The D’s deserve all the credit for one upping the R’s who went along with mail in ballots, which cost Trump the election and will hurt the Republican Party for years to come. Stupidity.

  4. The problem was the Trump administration had their own team independent of the PA Republican Party. They hired people like Bernie Comfort, which was a joke. The two groups did not interact much and they didn’t know what the other was doing. It is not surprising that PA voted for Biden given the lack of teamwork by Republicans in PA. I saw this coming last year when this was announced. Had they been one team, I believe it would have been a different outcome.

  5. Overrated, lazy Lou Barletta failed as chair of the PA campaign for Trump. If Lou runs for PA Gov he will fail at that too.

  6. Donald Trump inherited a pandemic playbook and a booming economy, and squandered it. And for the first time in his life he has to face a consequence after squandering something.

I won’t forget all of the cowardly Republicans who supported Trump – even as Trump was racist, sexist, demeaning and attacked the constitution. Not to mention the record debt Trump ran up. Trump is a stain on the Republican party, and they will have to pay for it far beyond the 2020 election.

  7. The Pennsylvania story is full of lessons for 2022 and the Gov’s race. Mainly, that voters are not going to be fully receptive to the progressive message and that buzz words like “Socialist” and “defund the police” are harmful to Dems who get tagged with them. On top of that Trump was successful in connecting with the economic message and a lot of workers feared Biden shutting down the economy again. This economic message got Trump a lot of votes. Dems running in 2022 for Gov are wise to follow the Biden playbook and not get tagged with supporting more economic shutdowns. Especially in the construction field there was a lot of support for Trump because they fear more shutdowns.

    1. If PA still is facing a pandemic crisis in 2022, we are facing bigger problems than shutting bars, etc. At least, for those of us still alive.

    2. Wow. The hottest Hot Take yet. You do NOT understand the Pennsylvania electorate one iota. Stop fooling yourself into thinking you do. Construction is a TINY portion of the PA economy, other than housing building – and that is BOOMING during the pandemic. If you didn’t live in a shack upstate you might know that.

    3. Trump will be in jail and out of the picture by 2022. Will have have to get Swastika tattoos for his prison gang?
