Boyle, Evans Win Primaries

The new congressional lines didn’t adversely impact Democratic Congressmen Brendan Boyle and Dwight Evans. They both defeated their primary challengers to advance to the general election.

Boyle defeated Michele Lawrence and Evans defeated Kevin Johnson.

The Associated Press called the race early Tuesday night.

Both Boyle and Evans will face Republican challengers in the fall and are heavy favorites.
