BREAKING: HD-165: Adolph to Retire
One of the most influential members of the State House has announced he’ll be retiring at the end of this term.
State Rep. William Adolph, who has represented the 165th district since 1988, revealed that his fourteenth term will be his last.
“Whether it’s working on property-tax relief, simplifying Pennsylvania’s tax rules and regulations, or making college more affordable for students and their families, Bill Adolph’s accomplishments have improved the lives of countless members of his community,” Pennsylvania Republican Chairman Rob Gleason.
Adolph has served as Chair of the House Appropriations Committee since 2010. It is not yet clear who will step up and try to replace him.
The 165th district represents parts of Delaware County.
