Bryan Lentz and Big Talker Radio Host Dom Giordano Wait to Hear if Pat Meehan Will Join Them at Town Hall

Springfield, PA – Bryan Lentz, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, called on his Republican opponent Pat Meehan to join him in a town hall debate moderated by conservative radio talk show host Dom Giordano, who has already agreed to host a debate on October 18th. An invitation to the event was hand-delivered today to Meehan’s campaign office in Drexel Hill.

Below is an excerpt of the invitation and the full text is attached:

Dear Pat,
As I am sure you agree, the stakes in the election this year are high. Voters are concerned about the economy, the budget, health care reform and whether government can keep its promises to our seniors, allies and children. That’s why I have focused much of my campaign on meeting with voters, listening to their concerns and answering their questions.

It’s also why at the end of our debate on Dom Giordano’s radio show two weeks ago, I proposed that Dom host a public, town hall forum where voters could ask each of us questions directly. Dom immediately agreed to host the event, so I’d like to renew my offer to give the voters of the 7th District an opportunity to question the candidates side-by-side about the issues that concern them most. Dom has subsequently agreed to moderate at a joint town hall on in a 275-seat teaching auditorium made available by Delaware County Community College. Will you join us there on the 18th?

A former Airborne Ranger, criminal prosecutor and Iraq War veteran, Bryan Lentz currently serves in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from Delaware County. He was awarded both the Bronze Star for Service and the War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal for his military service. He lives in Swarthmore with his wife Jennifer and their son Thomas.
