“Today, I was honored to march in the Pittsburgh Labor Day parade alongside proud men and women who are the backbone of Pennsylvania,” said Democratic Party Chairman Jim Burn. “As we celebrate Labor Day with family and friends, let us take a moment to recognize the accomplishments of the Labor movement – from improved worker safety laws to fair pay for all workers. In this difficult economic time, we know that the path to economic recovery is paved by the working families of Pennsylvania. With them, the Democratic Party will continue to fight to create jobs and build an economy that works for all of Pennsylvania families.”
