Ciarrocchi Suspends Campaign for Governor

Guy Ciarrocchi, president and CEO of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, has announced that he has suspended his campaign for Governor.

The 57-year-old Republican said in a statement that he “was duty-bound to speak out for local businesses because Democrats in Washington and Harrisburg have harmed them with lockdowns and mandates, forcing many to lose their jobs and too many businesses to close.”

“I could not guarantee victory, but I could guarantee that I would speak out and carry that message across our state. A message that not only spoke to the harms we all felt; but one that spoke to our shared Hopes.”

“You know that I will continue to be a voice for local businesses, an advocate for children, a defender of liberty – and someone who believes in the promise of America.”

  1. Why one would think that being a good business leader is all that is required to run a state government is beyond me. If all the skill, money and energy that is being put in the political races could be put into a fund for the public good; we would all be better off.

  2. Thank you for all you have done to help so many struggling PA businesses and families, and for stepping up to the plate when it mattered, Guy. Please stay active in the Fight for Pennsylvania, and I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.
