Clinton Hits Trump on Taxes in New TV Ad (VIDEO)

The Clinton campaign continues to hammer Donald Trump for not releasing his tax returns.

Their latest TV ad, titled “Absolutely”, highlights the fact that the GOP nominee is the first candidate in the post-Watergate Era not to unveil his tax returns.

“If I decide to run for office, I’ve produced my tax returns. Absolutely,” Trump states in a 2014 interview that is included at the start of the commercial.

The thirty-second spot then goes on to show pundits speculating as to why Trump won’t release his records.

It finishes with an assertion from the Republicans’ 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

“Either he’s not anywhere near as wealthy as he says he is, or there’s a bombshell in Donald Trump’s taxes,” Romney states.

This new ad suggests that unlike the Democratic Super PAC Priorities USA, the Clinton camp does not intend to leave PA’s airwaves.

Just yesterday we learned that the Trump campaign is set to launch their first general election spots on Friday and that Pennsylvania will be one of their targeted states.

Compare this ad with Trump’s new ad for the general. This one’s truthful, Trump’s is full of the same old lies about immigrants, security and “Hillary Clinton’s America.” Clinton knows what she’s doing, Trump doesn’t.

  2. Marvels Fontenot says:

Trump is a Pathological Liar nothing he says can be believed except
that he manages to pay the least amount

  3. Waiting says:

Trump brought in the new team to manage his image. He knows he can’t win. He just doesn’t want to look like the loser that he is. Pathetic.

    That was a great ad!

  5. Pat Unger says:

LOL @ Trump pretending he still has a prayer in PA. There aren’t enough bigoted morons to carry the day for Trump the National Embarrassment.
