With just a few days left before election day, polling results released this week show large margins favoring the GOP in the gubernatorial race and a smaller, yet significant, lead for Republicans in the battle for the U.S. Senate.

Republicans are riding a wave of enthusiasm that they hope will propel them to victory in several close state house elections. But in an election that’s become all about turnout for Democrats, the House Democratic Campaign Committee has one advantage it hopes will push back against the looming conservative tide: money.
