10. Speaking to KDTV, Washington County Republican Party chair Dave Ball said: “We did not send him there to vote his conscience. We did not send him there to do the right thing, whatever he said he was doing. We sent him there to represent us, and we feel very strongly that he did not represent us.”

    Obviously, Mr. Ball is as clueless as the Senators who voted to acquit Mr. Trump. Senator Toomey showed courage and is to be congratulated for doing the right thing. The impeachment of Trump was supposed to be a trial. Mr. Toomey voted the way he did because the evidence was overwhelming. Trump was a clear and present danger to the US. Senator Toomey wasn’t sent there to represent the Republican Party. He was there to bare witness and decide given the facts. Thank you Senator Toomey.

But the state of Pennsylvania didn’t send him to the Senate so he could just represent a minority of self serving fascists that used to be the Republican Party.
