Dem State Committee Won’t be Rescheduled

By Ali Carey, Contributing Writer

A quick update for disappointed Dem politicos.

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party was forced to cancel its 2011 Fall Committee Meeting and other activities originally scheduled for September 9-10 in Gettysburg due to severe flooding throughout Pennsylvania.

According to state Democratic Party Communications Director Mark Nicastre, they have decided against rescheduling the event for later this fall.  Instead, they will address the issues originally intended for the September meeting at their regularly scheduled meeting in January at State College.

Nicastre doesn’t expect an official announcement of the date and location of the January meeting to be released for about another month.

Attendees can email cancellation@padems.com or call 215-405-0500 with any questions.
