The Democratic National Committee announced their selection for Press Secretary for their 2016 presidential nominating convention.
Lee Whack, who was serving as Communications Director to Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky of Illinois, won the job.
“We are very pleased that Lee is joining the Convention team,” said Convention CEO Leah D. Daughtry. “I am confident his background and experience will help us achieve our goal of being the most engaging, inclusive and forward-looking convention in history.”
A Pittsburgh native, Whack has also worked for the DC House Finance Agency and several Illinois State Senators.
The DNC revealed their leadership team for the convention back in June. The event will take place July 25th to 28th in Philadelphia.

I hope he does not do a Whack job on DNC.
He figured he’d give it a whack.
That really an unfortunate name. Can he change it?
