Donohue, Dougherty and Wecht Win Dem Supreme Court Nominations

Democrats have chosen their nominees for the three open seats on the PA Supreme Court.

At the moment, with 99% of precincts reporting, Superior Court Judge David Wecht is the top vote-getter with 365,788. Fellow Superior Court Judge Christine Donohue is second with 357,235.

Both candidates were endorsed by the state Democratic Party last February.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge is out in third with 354,001.

Superior Court Judge Anne Lazarus has 275,944 votes and is just below the cut line at fourth.

Rounding out the field are Allegheny County Judge, and ex-Steeler, Dwayne Woodruff (194,686) and Jefferson County Judge John Foradora (115,517).
