Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-Allegheny) Monday expressed dismay when he realized that he had voted against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
“I’m a Sheetz man, through and through,” said Rothfus, whose southwestern Pa. district boasts a high concentration of the gas stations. It and Delaware County-based Wawa are rivals for Pennsylvania’s convenience store loyalties.
“I thought this was a Philly thing,” Rothfus continued. “I mean, who in their right mind would knowingly vote against a bill to protect women from domestic abuse?”

My God: Now we are attacking lobbyists too!!! Rothfus had the PA 12th seat purchased for him by Casino Jack Abramoff’s life-long friend Grover Norquist who did not go to jail. http://youtu.be/xe1d32I_wUY
ERIN: Please educate Keith Rothfus that you can get pregnant from forcible rape. I have the living proof. Stop the Rothfus war on women, those women who are not brain-washed extremists.
There he goes again.
I don’t like these April fool’s jokes.
The preceding two comments were both mine.
Sir, you need to take a joke and enjoy the sentiment of the day.
Maybe it’s because republicans overwhelmingly control every branch of government in the state?
Notice most of your stupid April’s fools jokes are against republicans. Aren’t you a lobbyist now? How can your opinion be taken seriously
