Erie Leaders Endorse Shapiro for AG

Josh ShapiroTwo leading Erie County officials have announced their support for the Montgomery County Commissioner’s campaign for Attorney General.

The new backing comes from Erie County Executive Kathleen Dahlkemper and State Representative Florindo Fabrizio.

“As Attorney General, Josh is committed to protecting Pennsylvanians not only from violent crime, but from the scam artists that fleece our seniors and the frackers who contaminate our drinking water,” said Dahlkemper. “Josh is someone I can work with to protect the people of Erie County no matter how difficult the challenge.”

Dahlkemper represented the 3rd Congressional District from 2009 to 2011, before assuming office as Erie County Executive in 2014.

“Attorney General is a big job – you have to be the consumer watchdog, you’ve got to protect the environment, and you have to manage an office of hundreds of attorneys,” added State Rep. Fabrizio. “Josh is Chairman of the third-largest county in the Commonwealth and we served together in the house, I’ve seen his work up close and I know he has the skills to do the job. We need Josh because he’ll fight for the people for a change.”

Fabrizio has served the 2nd district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2003.

“No matter where in Pennsylvania you call home, you need an Attorney General that will take on criminals whether they’re selling heroin to our kids, polluting our drinking water by recklessly fracking or fleecing consumers over the phone,” Shapiro responded. “I’m honored that Executive Dahlkemper and Representative Fabrizio endorsed my campaign to be an Attorney General that fights for all Pennsylvanians.”

Shapiro will be facing Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli and Alleghany County District Attorney Stephen Zappala in the Democratic primary on April 26th.

  1. The only capable and honest candidate for PA Attorney General is JOHN MORGANELLI. Knowledge, long time experience and attention to his job are key.

  2. How do we make sure that the new AG does not hire people (like Frank Fina) who will use their State computers to view and distribute videos/pictures that depict:

    – bestiality

    – graphic violence against women

    – sexual images of children

    – a woman having “sex” with a snake

    – a 100 year-old woman engaged in intercourse

    – a man opening a champagne bottle and shoving it in a woman’s vagina

How “friggin” vile is Frank Fina?

  3. Wow. First Seth Williams hires pervert, racist woman-haters. Now, he prosecutes Blacks (Bishop, et al) while refusing to prosecute Whites (Johnny Doc):

Williams has some explaining to do. He says he can’t prosecute Dougherty because he has a “longstanding relationship” with the union thug who gave him tons of $$$.

But he has no problem prosecuting Representative Bishop, who he has known since he was a boy.

Bishop’s mistake was that she did not give Seth Williams tons of $$$, I guess.

Seth Williams is a creep, He’s corrupt. And now – he is a Republican too:

  4. An endorsement from Kathy Dahlkemper means nothing. She didn’t do anything in Congress, nor has she as Erie County Executive. She will be out of office after one term…again.

  5. Tony twothumbs: Dish on W. Chris Conrad details. Or are you afraid of being Tony onethumb?

  6. Mr. Rollo,

You said something previously about a cop in the Leon Ford case admitting in a private conversation something about the initial car-stop. What did you mean?

    Thanks.

    Ronald D. Castille, 1994, Chief Justice 2008
Zappala Sr. joined the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on January 3, 1983. He assumed the position of Chief Justice on January 1, 2002.
    ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

  8. Who is running for Attorney General Stephen Jr or Stephen Sr?
Grapevine gossip- I am supporting Zappala because of favors from his father. (I have never met his son) Begs the question: what kind of favors was a judge giving you??? The 80’s are over, time for the feds to investigate all the favors done by the Zappala family.
Cash for Kids Zappala family tell us how the Supreme Court justice sweep that one under the rug, or just another favor??
Tell us the tail of W. Christopher Conrad?
Zappala and all his favors will come to see the light of day.
Start with reviewing all the cases against friends of friends that DA Zappala refused to prosecute.
DUI – no problem just remember someday I will need a favor in return.
The days of the corruption of old man Zappala, are over. The feds are on their way.

  9. What!!!??? The Bazzano-Zappala-Porter mafia roots end in Butler County? Don’t they have a “Kids for Cash ” prison up north?Maybe the mob’s war on women ends in Cranberry Township, stopped in it’s tracks at the Good Feet Store.
