Exclusive: Fitzpatrick Raises $1.1 Million in Q2

A personal best quarter for the Bucks County Republican.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks) campaign will report raising more than $1.1 million from the beginning of April to the end of June, in an exclusive release to PoliticsPA.

His campaign’s previous record was his $945,000 Q3 haul in 2020

“Thank you to everyone in our community who continue to rally around our People’s Movement of bipartisanship and problem solving, and rejecting the bigotry of hyper-partisanship,” said Fitzpatrick in a statement. “I will continue to have your back, and I will continue to fight tooth and nail every single day for your families and for our One Community.”

Fitzpatrick’s campaign entered July with $1.3 million cash on hand.

His Q2 haul is a significant increase from his previous quarter. Fitzpatrick’s campaign raised $360,000 from the beginning of January to the end of March.

The previous quarter was also the first finance report that Fitzpatrick’s campaign had filed under the committee name “Brian Fitzpatrick For All Of Us.” In previous cycles, Fitzpatrick’s fundraising committee’s name was “Brian Fitzpatrick for Congress.”

The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jonathan Tamari reported on July 1 that Fitzpatrick said he hasn’t “been actively going down that road” of considering a run for U.S. Senate, although he said you never say never.

According to Open Secrets, $6.5 million was raised in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District during the 2020 cycle, making it the third most expensive congressional race in the state last cycle. Fitzpatrick’s campaign raised $4.2 million in the previous cycle, which is more than any other GOP incumbent for Congress raised in the state’s delegation.

Fitzpatrick defeated Democratic challenger Christina Finello by 13 points in 2020 to earn a third term in Congress. Biden carried the 1st Congressional District over Trump by nearly 6 points, according to Daily Kos

Fitzpatrick is the lone Republican in the state to represent a district Biden won and is currently one of two Pennsylvania Republicans being targeted by the DCCC’s initial 2022 list, along with Rep. Scott Perry (R-York).

Pennsylvania will lose a seat after redistricting, making it difficult for any challenger and incumbent to accurately size up their 2022 prospects. That said, Fitzpatrick represents one of the most consistent congressional districts in Pennsylvania. Bucks County – unsplit – has remained within and anchored a single district for at least a century.

    1. Sanctioned? What are you talking about?

Also, he represents a district that is moderate and relatively evenly split between voter reg. You think he should play to the far right so he loses and a dem takes the seat?

  2. Substantial amount comes from the dark money bundling of his Problem Solvers Caucus owners at No Labels Org– in the taped conference call to Wall Street/private equity leaders, the head of No Labels said they bundled $500,000 just for Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick also had a couple of fundraisers in June headed by failed former Sec of State Pompeo, at least one of which was hosted by Bucks County Jan 6 DC bus organizer Jim Worthington of Newtown Athletic Club and People4Trump.

    Follow the money…

    1. Your obsession with him is startling. I hope the Capitol Police and/or FBI are looking into you.

    1. Typically inheritances aren’t put to a public vote
