EXCLUSIVE: RAGA Hits Shapiro Over Guns (VIDEO)

The national Republican Party is aiding John Rafferty’s campaign against Josh Shapiro.

The Republican Attorneys General Association launched a new web video attacking the Democratic nominee.

The fifteen-second spot, titled “Wrong, concerns guns.

“It’s your Second Amendment right and Josh Shapiro is wrong,” a narrator states. “That’s politician Josh Shapiro running for Attorney General. Opposed to gun rights. More gun bans, background checks and restrictions on concealed carry.”

“It’s your right and Shapiro’s wrong,” the narrator concludes.

This video comes just a day after Rafferty premiered two ads of his own hitting Shapiro.

KSDF – who said anything about Kathleen Kane? I was talking about RAGA supporting Corbett & Freed.

  5. Wait... says:

They are bashing Shapiro for background checks which 85-90% of people support. And gun restrictions are also widely supported. lol this is embarrassing

  6. Ghost says:

More cluelessness from the Rafferty campaign. Terrible candidate with a terrible message. The ad HELPS Shapiro! Almost anyone would have been better to take on Shapiro. Rafferty will come out of the SE so far down, he’d need votes from Ohio and New York to win. Once again, bad candidate choices by the GOP. The same crew that gave us Swann/Matthews, Corbett, Freed, Ellis, Santorum. When Toomey loses, come January: goodbye GOP statewide. It was nice knowing you.

  7. Isaac L. says:

Over 90 percent of gun owners support universal background checks. This ad is tone deaf.

  8. Montco PA Dem says:

Just judging by the freeze frame above, this is going to get Josh a lot more votes in SE PA. For the vast majority of voters in this densely populated part of the state, those are all positive values.

  9. KSDF says:

@Bono, all those lies about Kathleen Kane?

  10. Bono says:

Hmmmm, I remember this same group supported Tom Corbett & David Freed. Told lies on their behalf. No doubt telling more lies about Josh
