Michael Wojcik, the Democratic nominee for Commonwealth Court, is hitting the airwaves.
The campaign will begin airing the ad next week in the Pittsburgh market.
The thirty-second spot, titled “Standing for Us”, recounts highlights from Wojcik’s biography and record as a lawyer.
“When Michael Wojcik’s father died in Somerset County from black lung disease, Michael successfully fought the coal company that tried to deny his mother her husband’s death benefits,” the narrator begins.
The commercial goes on to tout Wojcik’s work getting absentee ballots to new mothers and defending victims of abuse.
“We know where Michael Wojcik stands as a lawyer,” the narrator concludes. “Just think what he will stand for as a Judge.”
Wojcik is the Democratic nominee for an open seat on the PA Commonwealth Court running against Republican nominee Paul Lalley. The election is on November 3rd.
