Gov. Tom Wolf announced the launch of a bipartisan COVID-19 vaccine joint task force. Here is the Playbook. 

Wolf Launches Bipartisan COVID-19 Vaccine Joint Task Force: Acting Sec. of Health Alison Beam and Director of the PA Emergency Management Agency Randy Padfield will co-chair the task force that also includes state Sens. Ryan Aument and Art Haywood, plus state Reps. Bridget Kosierowski and Tim O’Neal.

Ravenstahl Hired as Ross Assistant Township Manager: In an 8-0-1 board vote, the former Democratic state rep was named to serve as an assistant township manager.

Dave Ball Elected Washington County GOP Chair: The newly elected chair hopes to build onto the recent GOP momentum in the county.

Former State Rep. George Hasay Dies at 73: Former state Rep. George Hasay died at the age of 73. He was the youngest member of the state House after being elected in 1972 at the age of 23 and was the longest serving member when he announced his retirement in 2006 at the age of 57, the Citizens Voice reports.

Wolf Endorses Beemer for Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas: Gov. Tom Wolf endorsed Judge Bruce Beemer’s candidacy to continue serving on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, according to a release from the Beemer campaign.

  1. Bruce Castor gave an eloquent and beautiful recitation yesterday a complete and total explanation of why Trump cannot be impeached now that he is out of office and why impeachment precluded.

  2. Interesting argument by GOP that Trump cannot be impeached now that out of office, because the only consequence for his riot incitement is criminal prosecution. Yes, Trump should be criminally charged, but that does not preclude impeachment.
