Fetterman Return to Campaign Trail Scheduled for August 12

Fetterman heart

The long-awaited return of John Fetterman to the public campaign trail is now on the books for Friday, August 12, in Erie.

The campaign made the announcement in an email to supporters and media.

“Before the 2020 election, I said that if I could know one single fact about the results, I could tell you who was going to win Pennsylvania. Whoever wins Erie County will win Pennsylvania,” said Fetterman. “Erie County is Pennsylvania’s most important bellwether county. I’ve visited Erie dozens and dozens of times in the past, and I am honored and proud to be returning to the campaign trail here.”

Erie County has selected the winner of each of the last five presidential contests dating to 2008 and the election on Barack Obama. The county has also tabbed the winner of each gubernatorial and U.S. senatorial race in the Commonwealth since 2012.

It will be the lieutenant governor’s first public rally since mid-May.

Fetterman also announced that his U.S. Senate campaign has surpassed 1 million individual contributions since its launch last year.

  1. This guy is a LEGEND. Imagine getting to live in your parents basement and just cash checks from Daddy until you’re 50 years old. Now THAT is the American Dream. This dude is a loser. He’s never accomplished anything in any role he has ever held. Voting for him is a self-sorting IQ test.

  2. Fetterman loves Erie. He’s here a lot just on family trips to Presque Isle and Splash Lagoon. He has a good base of support here and will win the county by a decent margin.

    1. Yeah I mean, Erie is a Dem county. He is from Western PA. If he lost Erie he would be screwed and would probably mean he would lost the state by over 5% if it was reflected everywhere. Not rocket science.
