The co-chair of the Biden-Harris reelection campaign has endorsed a pair of Pennsylvania members of Congress for support from her “Fight Like Hell” federal political action committee.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer launched the PAC in June, which allows her to raise money for federal candidates and pull out all the stops to reelect the Biden-Harris ticket, flip the U.S. House, and hold the U.S. Senate in the face of MAGA extremism.
In this first round of endorsements, Whitmer is highlighting eight incumbent members of Congress who are unapologetic in their fight for working people and their basic freedoms, including Keystone State Democrats Susan Wild (D-07) and Chris Deluzio (D-17).
“I started Fight Like Hell in order to do everything I can to support candidates up and down the ballot, like President Biden and Vice President Harris, who are fighting like hell for everyday Americans and the will of the majority,” said Whitmer. “Now, I’m excited to announce the endorsement of eight candidates who similarly embody these ideals, and have proven their dedication as members of Congress to addressing kitchen table issues and defending our everyday freedoms. Each and every one of these U.S. representatives has been a champion for their constituents, and I’m committed to helping them secure re-election in 2024.”
A source close to the PAC said that Wild and Deluzio received early backing as Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Frontline members, noting they both embody Whitmer’s and the Fight Like Hell PAC’s ideals fighting for everyday Americans and working families, addressing kitchen table issues and defending our everyday freedoms.”
The Frontline program is the DCCC’s DCCC’s program to ensure Democratic Members of Congress from the most competitive seats have both the resources and cutting-edge information they need to execute effective reelection campaigns.
Also included in the initial list are:
- Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI-03)
- Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14)
- Congresswoman Jahana Hayes (CT-05)
- Congresswoman Emilia Sykes (OH-13)
- Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04)
- Congresswoman Angie Craig (MN-02)
With this endorsement, each of these candidates will be receiving financial support from Fight Like Hell PAC.
Wild defeated Republican Lisa Scheller in a hard-fought race for the Lehigh Valley seat in 2022 by a little more than 5,800 votes. There are four Republicans lined up to contend for the opportunity to square off with Wild in November – Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh), Maria Montero, Kevin Dellicker and Allen Issa.
Deluzio held off GOP challenger Jeremy Shaffer for the Pittsburgh-area seat in 2022 by six points. He will face either Rep. Rob Mercuri (R-Allegheny) or Dr. James Nelson in the 2024 general election.

Susan Wild took a large amount of money from the far left Squad- Wild is not fit for office- as Dems we can do better- I’d rather have anyone but Wild the phony
Every Dem is better than any MAGA GOP.
