First Quarter Reports: Fitzpatrick Top Congressional Fundraiser

Congressional MapsPennsylvania’s Congressional Delegation is building its war chest for the 2018 election.  The ground work began in the first quarter of this year.

Together, they have raised $3,386,363.92 combined with $1,957,071.53 coming from political action committees (PACs).

Here is the breakdown of each candidate’s total raised, and the amount that came from PACs:

Fitzpatrick’s ranking was helped by his topping the list for PAC contributions as well.  67% of his fundraising came through PAC donations.

While Cartwright came in third in fundraising, his haul helped him jump up the rankings for cash on hand which will help him push back against national Republicans targeting his seat in 2018.  His fundraising came mostly through individual donations, with only 27% coming from PACs.

Marino’s small amount could be partially attributed to his expected move into the Trump Administration, and to his margin of victory in the previous election.

The to six PAC donation recipients were all Republicans, as were the bottom three.

  1. All the money in the world isn’t going to help him. In case you forgot, look at the money bush and the hilldabeast spent in the last election! If he’s really a Republican, he better start sounding and acting like one before it’s too late!
