HD-146: Tom Quigley Wins Back State House Seat

SQuigleytate Representative Mark Painter, a one term Democratic incumbent, lost his seat in a rematch of the 2012 election.

With 90% of the precincts reporting, Quigley leads Painter by 4%, 9,067 votes to 8,320 votes.

In 2010, Quigley was re-elected by a 56.2%-43.8% margin over Painter. The tides turned in 2012, when Painter defeated Quigley by a razor-thin margin of 50.4%-49.6%.

The district is located in western Montgomery County, just east of Pottstown.
